Care Packages - Delivered Fresh to Bancroft Hall Care packages from home are very important to our Mids. Try to send them unusual care packages filled with food or games that will surprise and delight them. However, if time is running short, or you are just not into that "baking thing" there are several alternatives you might like to consider. Send gift certificates from national chain restaurants like Chili's, Dominoes, Fudruckers, Applebees, even McDonalds, or check into a gift certificate from The Canton Restaurant (410-280-8658) if your Mid prefers Chinese food. What ever you choose, it's important to show your Mid that you're thinking about them and to give them the encouragement to hang in there. Calvary Cookie Factory To help finance their Work Mission the youth of Calvary United Methodist Church will bake chocolate chip cookies and deliver them fresh to the Academy at the cost of about $2.00 per dozen. Deliveries are made eight times during the academic year on a Saturday afternoon. This one gets high marks from the Mids. Midshipman Birthday Cake Program A fund raising project of the Naval Academy Primary School. Surprise your Mid with a professionally decorated home made 9"x13" cake with gift enclosure card. Cakes are $20.00 each and delivered to Bancroft Hall. Send order to: Midshipman Birthday Cake Program, Naval Academy Primary School, Greenbury Point Road, Annapolis, MD 21402. Send check made payable to NAPS and the following information: Your name, address, phone number, Mid's name, Class, Company, birthday date, message on cake to read, gift card enclosure to read, choice of yellow, white or chocolate cake batter, and choice of anchor, USNA decal or other cake decoration. Graul's This local grocery store will deliver specially designed cakes for all occasions - The Dark Ages, Army/Navy games, birthdays, holidays, etc. They also deliver care baskets loaded with your Mid's favorite snacks. To Order: Call 410-974-0737 Miss Nancy's Fancy Bakery Delivers fresh baked gifts to Bancroft, such as, brownies, chocolate chip cookies, decorated cakes, fresh breads, cheeses, etc. To Order or to Request a Price List: Call 410-267-7170. Shelly's Flower Box Has special baskets for Halloween, Valentine's Day, Easter, or any occasion. If your Mid prefers something special, or has a favorite let us know. The owner/baker is a Sponsor Mom, so Mids have a special place in her heart. They do deliver to Bancroft Hall during (the Bakery's) normal business hours.
