Annapolis Area Accommodations |
| Reservations at hotels and motels are generally not be
accepted until 51 weeks before the needed date. In other words, one week after graduation,
they begin taking reservations for the following years graduation. A few hotels are
the exception (Loews Annapolis Hotel comes to mind) and will accept
reservations at anytime; however, with no guarantee of price. For Midshipmens' families and friends, there is a home/housing matching service called Annapolis Accommodations, a locally founded real estate search and matching company that has been serving USNA parents for years. Click here for direct access to their website - http://www.stayannapolis.com - or call them at (410-263-3262). They provide liaison between parents and the owners/managers of many of the homes and hotels in the Annapolis area throughout the year - and especially during Commissioning Week. Their policy is to begin filling requests for the next year's Commissioning Week after graduation. They hold the claim that everyone who contacts them will have a place to stay during that important week. Furthermore, with a little advance notice, they can frequently make many of those homes available for weekend rentals during important times in the USNA calendar. |
